This site is dedicated to the few, the proud, the progressive who live in 92040 and points East of San Diego. We are here. You are not alone. Be of good cheer.
Like you, I live here with my wife and kids because I enjoy space and fresh air and the sound of roosters in the morning. Also because I can keep my horses in my back yard.
Like you I am a firm believer in progressive ideas, like public health care, public schools, public parks, public libraries... you get the idea.
Like you I believe in "live and let live" and property rights.
Like you I believe in seperation of church and state, but I don't give a hoot about memorial crosses built 40 years ago to honor dead soldiers. There are bigger fish to fry, more important battles to fight.
I think they ought to leave the seals alone.
I think they ought to forget about building a new central library and put it in an existing building instead, and for crying out loud leave our branch libraries alone, they work great and are always filled with locals opening thier minds.
Guns? I got one, do you? But I do think that bazookas and rpgs and assault rifles are better off regulated than out on the streets.
Legalize Pot? Hey, just Decriminalize it. But put the blocks on Crystal, and Ephedra and all that crap that physically destroys mind and heart for good.
What else? I got a million of them, but lets talk later, my horses are trying to break down the fence and get into my garden.
